- Our trust purchased close to 103 woollen blankets as donation to Amma Nanna Anada Ashram, Chotuppal. There are around 400 old people at this home and from our trust end, we were able to raise funds and donate 103 blankets. 2. Our trust recommended and requested Sumadhura Foundation for help, related to sports uniform for the athlete’s. The sports uniform will be worn by athletes, who will be playing inter-state tournaments or bi-weekly weekend friendly matches. The idea of giving sports uniform is to help them motivate & encourage their interest in sports. Another way, it is used as representation of their local team, when they attend competitions or tournaments held by different schools or organizations. The Estimated cost is 16850 rupees.
There are 33 players and 2 Sports teachers, the whole idea & interest of giving away sports uniform is especially watching their sport and dedication in practise sessions. These students both girls and boys along with their studies come every evening to playground and practise regularly on sports like KHO-KHO & Volleyball. There are few players, who also practise long jump. They have won many inter-state competitions as team and also as individual won many medals & certifications. On Dec 12, 2021. The dress distribution happened at Morden High School, Mallapur Premises. The school principal G. Muthyam Reddy attended the occasion. 3. Inner Wear
We got this request from Mr. Naga Mohan’s, Founder of Extra Mile, NGO. Around 40 Pairs of Inner Wear is provided to Good Samaritan Children Home, Tanuku. The overall contribution from our trust is 8330 Rupees
About Extra Mile Inner Wear Drive: They provide inner wear to orphanage girls, every year on March 8th, on the occasion of International Women’s Day. And also in September. Two sets of bra, panty and petticoat to each girl, twice in a year, not just once but year after year. Started this in 2017 with 100 girls in 4 orphanages. Increasing the number of beneficiary girls every year, now giving to 400 girls from around ten orphanages in Hyderabad. Click here for pictures
4. Grocery Support
Our trust received request from Mr. Narendra Cheguri, who works as sports teacher in Modern High School, Mallapur. He lives in same area along with his wife and two children. He has now requested our trust to support groceries worth 2500 rupees from Jan 2022 for six months. His wife is educated and had done B.Ed and she is also interested to work as teacher. However, they have 2.5yr old daughter. Once her girl child is 3yrs then they will join her in some play school and she will be going to job. I have personally visited the home yesterday and my trust decided to help them purchasing required groceries.
5. Blanket Donation
We got this request from J. Sathishraj, President of J.S Ramulu Foundation, Kothakota. This is small organization and they collect donation from people and they do small awareness programs, charity works. They needed 50 blankets to give away to old people in their village, road side living poor people. They are into social service since last 4 years. Our trust raised donations of 9000 rupees and have purchased 50 blankets and sent courier to kothakota to J.S Ramulu foundation. Click here for pictures
6. She is Krishna Priya & her husband both are floor walkers. They are physically challenged couple leading life with lot of love & passion. She does small DTP works and also gives shelter to few women, who are also floor walkers. She had requested for March month groceries. On international women’s day, our trust visited their house and have decided to help with March month groceries. Today on Mar 14th, 2022 with the help of our volunteer Mr. Narendra cheguri, had delivered groceries at their home in Perzzaguda, Uppal. 7. Grocery Support # 3 Mrs Rosy is mother for 3 Kids and a cancer survival patient. She lost her husband in COVID-19 and her living became difficult. She lives with her cousin, who is a nurse in ayurveda hospital. She has now requested for groceries for 1month. This is genuine request, as it was referred by Mr. Naga Mohan, founder of ExtraMile Foundation. Our trust agreed to support and gave away her required groceries in month of May 2022. 8. Mrs Hemalatha is active social worker and unfortunately she lost her job and living became difficult. She now requested for 1month groceries support until she finds a new job. 9. Mrs Janu is housewife and active social volunteer. She had requested to support with few rice bags for Divya Jyothi Foundation, home for orphan boys situated in Saidabad, Hyderabad. This is home for close to 40 orphans and currently they are facing food problem. Our trust agreed to support and gave away 3 Rice Bags each 25kgs in weight. 10. Mr. Ganesh is founder of this home for disabled people. Amma Cheyutha Foundation is home for close to 40 people both girls & boys. This is situated in LBNagar, Hyderabad. They had immediate requirement of basic groceries and cleaning goods. Our trust agreed to support, as our founder personally visited the home. Mr. Sai Kishore Bolla an active volunteer with trust and our founder went personally purchased required groceries and delivered the items to this home. 11. Our trust received this request from Mr. Uday, Founder of Rajamatha Foundation, a voluntary organization which serves cooked food for roadside people. This family requested for 1month groceries. Mr. Uday already pooled some money for their son’s education. He lost his father in pandemic and later his mother is doing tailoring and taking care of both sibling’s. 13.Our trust has got an request from Mrs. Radhika, who runs Lahari oldage home in Narapally, Ghatkesar Mandal. She established this home in 2011 and in 2015 she took money from her parents and bought a land and with help of many like minded people, she built the oldage with two floors. They are currently 38 people in this home. We had given them 200 diapers for Feb 2024 and also agreed to support groceries in coming days. Click here for pictures
